Consistency, the keys to success

When improvement is concerned, consistency is the key element, accuracy is a distant second.
We self-correct subconsciously by listening to our bodies, and we adjust and come up with new and befitting ways of operating.
A baby trying to walk, goes through thousands of attempts, it keeps the good ones and discards the rest.
At the end it will have a system that works.
Interviews with top athlete describing the reason for their excellence and unique style, showed that they could only describe the conscious part, but not the unconscious side of their craft, which is the main ingredient of their success.
Frame by frame study of their movements showed elements that were not mentioned in the interviews, because they sat deep within their subconscious and hence performed without their conscuious knowledge.
Subtle guidance is more beneficial than a full-fledged education system.
A good example would be a space equipped with the necessary tools, where kids would have free reign to experiment with different types of crafts, without the need for grades or the overly intrusive presence of a supervisor.
Repetition coupled with the tiny adjustment that come naturally to us as a result of consistent practice are enough to point us towards perfection.
A great athlete by the name of Michael Johnson won several titles and held numerous world records while adopting a style of running deemed stiff and inefficient by most experts.
He found his own unique way and it took him to the peak of his discipline.
