How different languages affect us differently

The language that we speak influences and determines the way we think and navigate the world.
Words and definitions can shape people's perception of reality.
A language that has limited words for colors, may cause its speakers to pay less attention to the differences between different gradients and shades.
Language and thought are closely connected. Linguistic determinism suggests that language limits or expands what people can conceptualize.
It can increase or limit our abilities when it comes to describing emotions, relationships, ideas, and experiences.
Each language has its own patterns of rhythms, and becoming familiar with these can gradually influence how a person organizes and communicates their thoughts.
A person may feel more confident, formal, or more playful in one language than in another. This can happen because each language is connected to different experiences, environments, and cultural expectations.
Certain aspects of the personality may become more noticeable depending on the used language.
Learning another language can be more than simply acquiring vocabulary and grammar, it can give a person another framework for communicating and experiencing life.
A bilingual person discovers that there are many possible ways to describe a thought or an emotion. This can broaden one's perspective as it exposes the speaker to another way of expressing concepts.
Beyond its visible benefits related to communication, a language dictates how we communicate, influence our thinking and what they notice and remember.
